Utilizing its Cellular Visual Technology (CVT) AnaLogic/Eutecus has developed an ultra high speed shape and size analysis solution based on the latest version of the Bi-i camera.

Small moving objects are detected, analyzed and classified based on their shape and size properties at an unprecedented speed. The complete standalone application runs on the Bi-i platform. The information on errors is transmitted to a host computer, which can make the necessary interventions in the manufacturing process.

The current systems are optimized for pill/capsule analysis, however, the solution can be easily generalized to other quality assurance areas where the classification should rely on shape and size attributes - the InstantVision solutions running on the Bi-i system ensure a rapid application prototyping.
