Utilizing its Cellular Visual Technology (CVT) AnaLogic/Eutecus has been developing and optimizing efficient algorithmic solutions for action driven indoor/outdoor surveillance. In these applications the goal is to identify and extract persons standing/moving in a known background and use this information for monitoring, counting and security purposes.

AnaLogic/Eutecus has incorporated the dynamic foreground-background separation functions crucial in this application into its InstantVision software libraries.

The solutions can be easily generalized to other site surveillance configurations - the InstantVision libraries running on the Bi-i system ensure a rapid application prototyping.
