A unique multiple event detection system was developed based on AnaLogic/Eutecus's Cellular Visual Technology (CVT), which enables the simultaneous detection and tracking of several laser flashes on a reflective surface. The time and the location of each flash is registered along with the ID of the laser source. This allows precise user interaction with simulated events projected onto the reflective surface using readily available cheap tools (visible or near infra-red laser pointers). The system is capable of differentiating between 6 laser sources at an accuracy of about 1-2 mm-s without any special synchronization between the camera and the laser sources.

The solution is being optimized for the Bi-i vision system using the Bi-i Software Developer Kit and the InstantVision software libraries.
