The algorithms can also be embedded in intelligent cameras (such as AnaLogic's and Eutecus' Bi-i V301) in the form of DSP programs and - for even faster execution - in FPGA IP blocks.

Description

This demonstration showcases several of AnaLogic's and Eutecus' video analytics algorithms for an outdoor traffic monitoring system. Video analytics are software applications that identify a range of behaviors and then alert human security staff to investigate them more closely. Traffic monitoring video analytics can be used for a wide variety of purposes, including security, surveillance, traffic management, and law enforcement.

This demonstration shows the following features:

Identify vehicle (bus, car, or motorcycle)
Track vehicle
Vehicle counter
Lane change
Car or motorcycle driving in bus lane

Each algorithm can be easily adjusted to the exact specifications of the user. For example, it can be set to recognize a car towing a trailer or another car as a single object.
