InstantVision Image Processing Software
The InstantVisionTM
3.1 Libraries provide image processing application developers with the
functions they need to create high-speed solutions for embedded
systems.
The InstantVision Libraries can be ported to
any platform and also come ready for use on a PC in order to facilitate rapid prototyping. The
libraries are highly optimized to run on the powerful TMS320C64xx series of DSPs from
Texas Instruments. Developers programming for the TI platform will enjoy a substantial boost
in speed because the algorithms were designed to take full advantage of
a number of characteristics specific to those DSPs. InstantVision provides an execution environment
for the visualization of program results on the different platforms.
Feature Classification Library
The Feature Classification Library (FC Lib) provides
flexible software tools for object classification problems, clustering and
pattern analysis. These classifiers may be combined using a flexible framework
to further enhance the classification quality of the complete system. This
library requires the Signal and Image Processing library. Read more on FC Lib

Multitarget Tracking Library
The Multitarget Tracking Library (MTT Lib) is a set of
functions developed for tracking multiple targets in image sequences. The
library contains high-performance algorithms with a small memory footprint
enabling its use in resource constrained environments like intelligent
surveillance cameras and other embedded devices. This library requires the
Signal and Image Processing library. Read more on MTT Lib

Signal and Image Flow Processing Library
The Signal and Image Flow Processing Library (SIF Lib)
is a collection of general-purpose, optimized C++ routines and classes for
spatio-temporal signal and image flow processing. These routines are typically
used in computationally intensive real-time applications, where optimal
execution speed is critical. This library requires the Signal and Image
Processing library. Read more on SIF Lib

Signal and Image Processing Library
The Signal and Image Processing Library (SI Lib) is a collection of
general-purpose, optimized C++ routines and classes for signal and image
processing along with utility classes to aid image and video file manipulation.
These routines are typically used in computationally intensive real-time
applications, where optimal execution speed is critical. Read more on SI Lib ...
Base Library
InstantVision also contains a basic data library (BaseData) which contains
efficient implementations for the most common datatypes used in signal and image
processing applications.
I/O Functions
Routines to read and write from image files (BMP format), video files (AVI
format), plain text files, configuration files. Support for image acquisition
from DirectShow devices on Windows systems.
